Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of the service provided by GrabBite ('the Company'). By using the service, you agree to these terms. Note: this document is a reference template and should be reviewed by a legal professional before launch.

1. Overview

GrabBite is an intermediary platform connecting sellers (stores) and customers. The Company acts as a marketplace intermediary and is not a party to transactions; sellers are responsible for product quality, safety, and labeling.

2. Accounts

Users must register with accurate information and are responsible for account security. You may not impersonate others or use accounts fraudulently.

3. Reservations and payment

Customers reserve items for free in the app and pay in person at the store on pickup. The Company (platform) does not handle payment funds; the amount shown is what you pay at the store.

4. Pickup, cancellation, refunds

Items are picked up at the designated store. Cancellation and refund policies depend on the item and store; due to the last-minute nature, some items may not be cancellable.

5. Prohibited conduct

You may not disrupt the service, register false information, use the service fraudulently, or infringe others' rights.

6. Limitation of liability

The Company's responsibility is limited to that of an intermediary and it is not directly liable for seller-attributable issues such as product defects or food safety.

7. Changes

The Company may update these terms and will announce changes within the service.
